We added a seal in the centre, too—making it even easier to access this iconic assortment of hazelnut praliné filled chocolates. Lifting the seal releases a rich aroma, teasing you to indulge in the luscious creamy hazelnut praliné taste within. The seal conveniently opens in two parts, allowing you to keep your chocolates covered for future enjoyment.

A taste of history

After a romantic holiday along the coast, Belgian couple Guy and Liliane came up with the idea of creating a sweet souvenir: a box of chocolate Seashells as a memento of their love for each other.

Liliane thought of eleven original seashell shapes, then developed the distinctive marbling using white, milk and dark chocolate. In turn, chocolatier Guy perfected the creamy hazelnut praliné filling with its delightful, distinctive taste and texture. The newlyweds combined their first names to form Guylian, released their Original Seashells—and the rest is history.
